Sutiles

PROGRAM NOTE

Sutiles is a cycle of 4 miniatures for piano that I wrote very early in my career as a composer. The primary focus of the cycle is to work with small forms that do not follow a traditional structure, but achieve unity through motivic treatment and the use of particular intonations. The pieces are an homage to the work of Anton Webern, Igor Stravinsky and J.S. Bach.
